Montgomery Cliff stars in Big lift, part documentary, part love story in post war Germany during the Berlin Airlift, American airman Danny MacCullough(Cliff) and Hank(Paul Douglas) are stationed in Berlin at the height of Russian Blockade of Berlin.
Both airman find solace in the comely figures of Frederica and Gerda, their views and prejudices are at times confirmed and dissolved.
Highly historical and at times intensely real, Big Lift serves up fact based events with a more commercial romance story intertwined.
