Derek (Robert Maxfield) is discharged from a psychiatric unit. He moves into Barlow House, a home for patients coping with mental health problems. Aided by Quiet Billy (Ricky Tomlinson) he takes the residents for a holiday to the seaside and hatches a plan to take over Barlow House from the cruel owners.
