Six friends are brought together at the funeral of a childhood friend.
A search through their deceased friend\'s house reveals a map to a time capsule they buried some 20 years earlier which spurs the friends to find it and dig it up. After uncovering the trunk, the unexpected is found.. the rotted remains of a child.
The closer they come to remembering the circumstances of the mysterious child\'s death, the closer they come to their own reckoning. The memory that will eventually kill them one by one is the same memory they need to stay alive.

Crazy Eights is about 6 friends who after attending the funeral of a 7th; dig up a time capsule from their childhood and discover the skeleton of a little girl, freaking out they drive away ending up at an abandoned house, inside the house they get trapped and are slowly killed one by one.
The film starts off very chilling, visions and dreams haunt the group of friends, all is very vague and mysterious and as the friends learn more we learn more. What doesn’t work is the selective memory of the friends, there are hugely important things that they forget that are directly related to things they do know.
Crazy Eights is standard horror fare, utilizing “Saw movie trapped in a basement style” directing and providing some haunting moments but ultimately overshadowed by too many questions left unanswered.
