evil Aliens
Movie Info
When news of a Welsh woman, falling heavily pregnant after being abducted by aliens, reaches the offices of cult TV show Weird World, star reporter Michelle Fox (Booth) and a small team go in search of the truth. Actually they’re more interested in keeping their show alive with some sexy re-enactments and more sensationalism than you could poke a perky nipple at. Along for the ride is hunky cameraman Ricky (Butler), whiny sound-man Jack (O’Connor), effeminate actor Bruce (Smithers) and soft-porn actress Candy (Shaw). Also getting in on the action is UFO geek Gavin (Honeybourne) who’s dream is to make first contact with an otherworldly visitor with his cock.
But what they find on arrival is anything but the hoax story they thought they’d been sent to cover. There’s mental, weapon-wielding freaks and filthy depravity for a start, and that’s just the Welsh farmers! When night falls and a ship descends from the heavens, the small village is suddenly swarming with evil aliens and it’s up to this rapidly depleting rag-tag team to kick some alien arse and save the world from annihilation.

Review:
Jake West’s Evil Aliens is B-movie territory, but Evil Aliens succeeds where hundreds of similar movies have failed, thanks to its execution. Writer/director West knows his audience and he plays up to it perfectly with some smart writing, over the top effects and a not so subtle homage to classic Sci-Fi titles.
Another area where B-movies often fail is in the acting talent. But West provides believable characters and a decent cast to portray them. Evil Aliens is a mixture of fun, frights and inside gags make this alien invasion parody universally enjoyable.
Fans of the lawnmower finale of Peter Jackson’s Braindead will love one of the closing scenes, featuring a cornfield full of aliens and a combine harvester, all of which is played along to The Wurzels famous farming song.
