Tortured by his own mediocrity, Max(Tom Sizemore), decides to commit suicide and recruits his only friend Bud, a struggling filmmaker, to record his last day on earth. Bent on exacting revenge, Max tracks down and finally confronts his overbearing boss and ex-wife. Max (Tom Sizemore) has A Broken Life, determined to commit suicide, he enlists his only friend Bud to film his last day on earth. As Max meets with people in his life he is disgruntled with, we hear of his social commentary on life and of his own pathetic existence.
A little like 25th Hour with Edward Norton, Max has only one day to reflect on his life and the choices that he has made, the film feels forced due to the short time that it has to fully develop. And seasoned actor Sizemore plays more towards a Loon then someone at terms with their fate.
Not without its good points, there are touching moments, the film flows well and the script is not altogether horrible.
