Review:
Tommy (James Marsden), his younger brother Vincent and Joey (Giovanni Ribisi), their cousin, live on 10th and Wolf. Their bond is unquestionable but their families work for the mafia and joey gets sucked into the world of crime as he avenges his father’s death. To get away from that life, Tommy joins the marines leaving Vincent under the influence of Joey.
The FBI blackmail Tommy into returning to the streets and become an informant, Tommy must manoeuvre his way around the mafia underworld in an attempt to hand current Mafioso Head to the FBI while protecting his family. Matters are made difficult as Joey is calling the shots for the remnants of the old clan, is unstable and uncontrollable and is itching to start an all out gang war.
Overall the film is above average, sticking with familiar themes such as loyalty and family and typical character roles, this film may not break new boundaries but what it does do, it does well.
