This cold, dark account of husband and wife serial killers is bold and frightening, Misha Collins is intense as sex crazed kidnapper, rapist and killer Paul Bernardo, his actions encapsulates the hunger and craving for the abuse and barbarism he resorts to. Lauren Prepon of That 70s Show is the submissive wife whos love for her man overshadows her morals ethics.
The director slowly entangles us into the creepy world of the couple, the first death is an accident but is the catalyst that Paul need to go on his brutal campaign of murder, all this is told through Karla, who recounts the experiences during her interrogation.
Unforgiving and daring, Karla gives us a powerful film with excellent turns from Misha Collins and Laura Prepon.
